FIRST DRAFT
OVERVIEW

First draft transcripts are affordably priced at $0.70 per audio minute, and are suitable for customers who need a simple draft of their audio or video recordings. It is best suited for files with two speakers. For files with multiple speakers, the Final Draft service is recommended.
These transcripts do not contain speaker IDs (e.g. Interviewer/Interviewee). Instead, paragraph breaks are used to indicate when speakers change. (See sample below).
Turnaround is within 5 business days. Faster turnaround (as quick as 2 business days or 24 hours) can be accommodated at an additional cost. (View Pricing). Please note that 24 hour turnaround applies to files that are 120 minutes or less.

Need more details to your transcript? Starting at a base cost of $0.90 per audio minute, a final draft provides a more refined, highly-accurate, and high-quality transcript. This service is best suited for files with multiple speakers. Speaker IDs such as Interviewer/Interviewee are included.
This service also has two formats: Basic and Standard. The Basic format has no spacing between speaker IDs and the written text whereas the Standard format does. There is no cost difference. (See samples below)

All audible content is transcribed including stutters, rephrasing, and filler words such as "uh" and "um."
Words such as "gonna," "wanna," "kinda" are spelt as they are spoken as well.
TURNAROUND TIME
​There are three different turnaround times to choose from: 5 Business Days, 2 Business Days, or 24 Hours. For both the First Draft and Final Draft services, the 5 Business Days turnaround is included in the cost. A turnaround of five business days means you can get your files within, but no later than, five business days.
For both 2 Business Days and 24 Hour turnaround there is an additional cost to accommodate the expedited times. (See Pricing). A turnaround of two business days means you get your files within, but no later than, two business days.
24 Hour turnaround includes weekends, and files are delivered no later than 24 hours from the time of your order. (Please note that the 24 Hour option is only available for files 120 minutes or less.) View the turnaround time charts below to get a clearer understanding of when you can expect your transcripts.
